Registration fees

* Please note that if you have just registered and paid your ESGO membership you will not be able to register as ESGO member for the SoA Conference right away. Please do not register for the conference earlier than 5 working days after paying the membership fee. Please make sure that you use the same email address for membership system and conference registration.

** Discounted countries are defined according to the World Bank Country Classification  - both groups A and B receive the same fee.

Registration fees for participants include:

• Admission to sessions via online connection
• Webcasts of the SOA 2020 conference and discussions

Cancellation policy - for online registration

Online registration fees are non-refundable.

If you cannot attend on the days of the conference, you will get access to the complete recording of the conference for two months after the event. 

Webcasts

The conference webcast will capture the official programme, where speaker permission is granted.

The delegates will have access to all recordings two months after the conference.

CME credits can only be granted to registered participants. 

The webcast will be available also to ESGO members (through ESGO eAcademy).

Confirmation

Upon receipt of the correct registration fee, a confirmation of payment and registration will be sent out. Please bring this confirmation to the registration desk at the conference venue as proof of your registration.

Group registration

The hospital group registration discount applies for a group of six people and more. Please contact us for more information at esgo2020@esgo.org. 

Payment

All fees for conference registration and additional items should be paid in EUR in advance to the Conference secretariat, clearly stating the participant’s name and address.

Bank charges are the responsibility of the payer and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

Visa and MasterCard are accepted during the registration process.

Press registration

Accredited journalists are welcome to the ESGO SoA conference 2020. Please use the online registration and upload your press identification.

Photography, recording privileges

Conference content is the copyright of ESGO, however, non-flash photography using personal devices and for strictly personal, social or non-commercial use, is permitted if not disruptive to the speaker and/or other session attendees. Video or audio recording in scientific sessions is not permitted unless authorized by ESGO.

During the conference photographs will be taken. This serves the purpose of publication on the website and/or on social media platforms of the organizer. It may hereby be possible that persons present are also photographed in a way that they can be identified. The legal basis for photographing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, lit. f GDPR, the organizer's legitimate interest is to publicly document the event.

This is explicitly stated at each event. If required, you can obtain information at the reception or information desk of the event if you do not wish that photographs on which you are identifiable will be published.

Responsibility

The participant acknowledges that he / she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organizers should the holding of the conference be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events or generally by "force majeure” or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate programme changes. With his/her registration, the participant accepts this proviso.
